Dr. Sharma is an Electrical Engineering PhD. and possesses a rich technical research background, with extensive R&D experience across companies like Osram Inc., Bose Corp., and contributing to foundation-stage startups such as Yobe Inc. During his Ph.D., he worked on numerous projects involving software and hardware implementations in advanced signal processing, machine learning algorithms, and AI/deep neural networks where he applied them to areas including smart lighting, computer vision, neuroscience, and speech technologies. He later shifted into the legal domain, working at a law firm Latham & Watkins, in patent litigation practice as an IP & Tech Specialist, where he gained hands-on experience in intellectual property, including presenting technical arguments to support complex IP cases.
